Advertising Week, a cross-industry conference which creates the stage for unique connections between leaders and speakers from the marketing, tech, and pop culture worlds. Over a span of six years, I served as the creative/design lead at Advertising Week while the company’s products and services grew from a single conference in New York, to five events across five continents, working with multiple languages and local crews. The brand and business expansion fostered an immense experience and achievement for me as I worked with diverse cross-functional teams to create the stage to inspire the audience in a delightful tone.

When unique perspectives and individuals meet on stage, sparks fly and compelling conversations are created right before our eyes. My concept was to frame the speakers to be “Great Minds”, with each speaker offering their unique experiences and stories to the attendees.

Our attention is important yet limited. Any attendee can feel lost, unsure of where to start when searching for events to attend. To mitigate this friction, I presented the events in a familiar interface for the user to browse with. (e.g. entertainment services such as Netflix, Hulu). Each event had its own unique image by combining speaker images and overlays.
