A monochromatic silhouette treatment, developed specifically for this book, turned the inherent inconsistencies of multi-source stock photography into a strength. The high-contrast graphic treatment unified disparate images into a cohesive system while establishing a visual tone that matched the ambition of the program.

Design
Men's Health built its reputation on aspirational fitness content. Designing for men over 40 meant earning trust instead. Photography was sourced exclusively in home and outdoor settings, reflecting how this audience actually trains rather than projecting an ideal. A new chart system, developed directly with the Men's Health Fitness Director, was built to flex around variable exercise counts and intensity-based programming across a 3-phase progression.
